A look at our 2025 Christmas Tree lighting!
We had a great turnout, Santa was very entertaining and the Martin family brought the patriarch of Hensonville, Tom Martin, to officiate the tree lighting. The children loved the candy cane/kisses from Santa. Haymarket did a fabulous job with homemade Christmas cookies and delicious hot chocolate! Thanks to all!
Special Thanks to: The Town of Windham, Town of Windham Highway Department, Hensonville Hose, Richard Tollner (Santa), Matt Grossman (tree decorating) and Haymarket (cookies and hot chocolate and hosting a wonderful event)

Stop by and see the 2022 COWF tree In Hensonville! Photo by Caryn.

In September 2022 the Community of Windham Foundation sponsored the cleaning of cemetery stones at Windham Cemetery, Route 23, Windham. COWF hired M and C Power Washing LLC – Matt and Caryn Grossmann, for a 2 day project cleaning a total of 201 stones during that time. Matt did not charge for stones of any veterans. We worked closely with Windham Cemetery President Josephine Tompkins, who is thrilled with the project!
We would like to continue the project and eventually have all the stones cleaned that are needed. Donations are greatly appreciated!
