Windham Emergency Shelter Information: Coming Soon
Free CPR-AED Training Class Offered
The Community of Windham Foundation’s next free CPR-AED training classes with certified instructor Reay Mahler is scheduled for October 24, 2020. Watch this space for updates.
An Automated External Defibrillator, or AED, can potentially stop an irregular heartbeat and allow a normal rhythm to resume following sudden cardiac arrest.
These trainings are free to attend, but only open to fifteen participants. Advance registration is required. To express interest this or a future class, email…denisemeehan14@gmail.com or jrwest4335@gmail.
Since launching the program, over 75 persons in our area have attended and been trained in CPR and AED. You too, can save a life with free certified CPR and AED training.
Listen to our Public Service Announcement about the trainings here (though dates have changed), as heard on WRIP!
You can also read and see photos from a past class, here.
On August 10, 2019 the Community of Windham Foundation marked WRIP’s 20th Anniversary with a day long celebration on the grounds of W.A.J. CSD.

Here are some additional highlights also captured by Fran throughout the day – including a peek at the concurrent quilt show.
